She was infected by the virus and miraculously, she survives to share her story with BellaNaija.
It is a long read but definitely worth reading as Dr. Ada details her experience. It’s a really gripping read which shows the story of strength, faith and dedication. We are grateful to Ada for sharing her story with us.

Too many expats are troubling people on Dubai metro escalators

My-Metro

after three years and am shocked to see the way expats’ behaviour has changed.
A lot of expats are troubling people every day on escalators. They are always in hurry to walk down on an escalator which also has people standing and availing some comfort for a short time (less than a minute).
They come rushing from behind and say “EXCUSE ME” in a tone which makes one feel whether he/she is making some criminal mistake by blocking the way for these people in a hurry who cannot even wait for a while to let the escalator take everyone down in peace and calm and in discipline.
Some only use the word “EXCUSE” with a disgust in their eyes as if they have been offended.
When I told one person to use the stairs instead he looked at me and told me that I was blocking his way and that I should not teach him. Audacious.
